Yellowstone is a solidly written drama – great characters, well-developed – that takes its tone from several different modern masterpieces. It has the atmosphere and cinematography of Longmire, the plot and dark perspective of The Sopranos, and the dramatic dynamics of a series like "Dynasty" or any other TV drama of its ilk. Big kudos to Costner and Cole Hauser – these guys pull it off 100%. I didn’t expect to be drawn into this show the way I was. It’s worth your time.
